Siddhartha Dey is a Scriptwriter, Writer, and Cinematographer, by profession. He is connected to both the Indian television, film industry. In fact, he has scripted several popular television reality shows. After writing for a variety of reality television shows and awards nights, he shifted to writing for movies. Also, he will be seen in season 13 of Big Boss. He was the writer of a few episodes of Big Boss Season 1 as well.

He is the first person from the writing background to enter the hugely popular reality show that is the Indian version of the Dutch reality television show, Big Brother. An opportunity to write for Shah Rukh Khan’s awards show paved the way for him to enter Bollywood. Thus, he credits King Khan for his accomplishments.

As a cinematographer, Dey worked in the Bengali film ‘Bidehir Khonje Rabindranath’ in 2011 and short film ‘Cerulean’ in 2017. Also, his kitty now has 2 films as a cinematographer where he will be working on the dialogues and screenplay.

Among Siddhartha’s other achievements include scripting over 1000 stage shows while partnering with several celebrities, models, business houses, and singers. He has written scripts for various stage shows – including the Hindustan Times Mumbai’s Most Stylish Awards, Colors Stardust Awards, Colors Golden Petal Awards, and Zee Cine Awards too. Moreover, during 2018, he scripted the Dabangg – Tour Reloaded.

More so, he has been associated with ‘American Idol’ – an American singing show – for the past 6 years. Besides, he has been the scriptwriter for all seasons of the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.
