Kriti Sanon – the young Indian film actress was born on 27 July 1990 in New Delhi. She came from a decent family background where her father, Rahul Sanon is a Chartered Accountant and her mother Geeta Sanon is professor teaching at the University of Delhi. Kriti Sanon also has a younger sister named Nupur Sanon. She pursued her schooling from Delhi Public School and completed her higher education in B.Tech Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology.

Her first entry in Indian film industry started with her debut movie in Telugu Cinema. She was casted opposite Mahesh Babu in the psychological thriller “1: Nenokkadine” (2014). After that she appeared in her first Bollywood movie “Heropanti” (2014) opposite Tiger Shroff. This film got her the Filmfare award for the Best Female Debut. The following year came her second Telugu film “Dohchay” (2015) opposite Naga Chaitanya. Then she also appeared in the blockbuster multi- starrer film called “Dilwale” opposite Varun Dhawan, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

Kriti Sanon’s other film were romantic film about re-incarnation- Raabta (2017) opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, rom com “Bareilly Ki Barfi” (2017) opposite Ayushmann Khurana and Rajkummar Rao. She also worked opposite Rajkummar Rao in “Stree” (2018) which was based upon ghost folklore ‘Nale Ba’. Other comedy films done by her is Arjun Patiala and Housefull 4. Moreover, later in 2019, Kriti Sanon appeared in “Luka Chuppi” opposite Karthik Aryan and Ashutosh Gowariker’s period film “Panipat” where she played the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau’s wife Parvati Bai. This film was a box- office bomb. Kriti Sanin’s upcoming projects consists of Laxman Utekar’s” Mimi” and “Bacchan Pandey” opposite Akshay Kumar. Kriti Sanon has also won many awards. The popular ones are Filmfare and IIFA Awards for Best Female Debut for her performance in “Heropanti”.

Apart from acting in many movies, Kriti Sanon is also known to endorse various brands and products like Titan Watches’ Raga Collection, Bata Shoes, Parachute Oil, American Swan, Tissot Watches, etc. She is also an entrepreneur who has also launched her own clothing label called “Ms Taken” in 2014.
