Alexandra Daddario is an American television and film actress and her birth-date is 16th March 1986. Born in New York City, Daddario resided in Manhattan’s Upper East Side during her childhood years. Also, she was admitted to Marymount Manhattan College. However, she dropped out of school to build a career in Hollywood. She was only 11 years old when she decided to become an actress.
Alexandra Daddario Career
Alexandra made her debut on television with All My Children (2002-2003); she portrayed the role of Laurie Lewis, a traumatized teenager, in this soap opera by ABC. Thereafter, she went on to star in a string of TV shows and films.
However, her breakout role came with the highly popular Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010): Chris Columbus is the director of this first instalment of the Percy Jackson series. Alexandra played the role of Annabeth Chase in this fantasy adventure film.
She was also seen in the drama series White Collar (2009-2011), where she essayed the role of Kate Moreau through seasons 1 and 2. More so, she starred in the comedy movie Hall Pass (2011) as Paige and drama series Parenthood (2011-2012) as Rachel.
After starring as the main lead in Percy Jackson, she played the lead role in Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) as Heather Miller. Plus, she reprised her character, Annabeth Chase, in the Percy Jackson series with the sequel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, which saw a release in the year 2013.
As part of Daddario’s filmography are Burying the Ex (2014), Baywatch (2017), the Layover (2017), When We First Met (2018), Night Hunter (2018), Lost Girls & Love Hotels (2020), among others.
More so, Daddario has produced two films that feature her. First is Can You Keep a Secret? (2019); this romantic comedy is based on the book with the same name, authored by Sophie Kinsella. Second is We Summon the Darkness (2019); the director of this horror film is Marc Meyers.
Among Daddario’s other films is Songbird (2020), which is the first movie to have been shot in Los Angeles amid the raging Covid-19 pandemic.
Web Series
Besides appearing in television shows and films, Daddario has also starred in web series. These include After Hours with Josh Horowitz (2018), Logan Paul: Summer Saga (2017), and Do You Want to See a Dead Body (2017); she plays herself in all these three films.
Even so, in Odd Jobs (2009-2010) web series, Daddario essays the role of Cassie Stetner over 3 episodes.
