Kamaal R Khan started his film career as a producer and actor in the Bollywood film ‘Deshdrohi’ (2008). He also appeared in a cameo role in the hit film ‘Ek Villian’ (2014). He also appeared as the main antagonist and as a producer in the Bhojpuri film ‘Munna Pandey Berozgaar’ (2006). KRK also produced the Hindi film’ Sitam’ in 2005. He also starred in the hit reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’ (2009) which is the Indian form of Hollywood’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. However, he was evicted from the show after 3 weeks due to his rude and violent behaviour towards other house inmates.

Kamaal R Khan is also known for various controversies in which he is associated with. Some of the known controversies revolving him are the ban of his film ‘Deshdrohi’ by the Maharashtra government in concerns with riots. KRK was also accused in 2013 for making offensive caste-based remarks in his reviews in ‘Raanjanaa’ against South star Dhanush. In this particular controversy, a police complaint has been lodged against Kamaal R Khan. Moreover, the film fraternity demanded full ban of KRK in the industry from the Federation of Western Cine Employees (FWICE).

He also made derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth. He is also known to abuse several actresses like Asin, TV actress Sara Khan. He is even said to own a lavish bungalow in Dubai named ‘Jannat’.
