The Times Group is a media institution, with its headquarters in Mumbai. The conglomerate is a family-owned business; the Sahu Jain family are the majority stakeholders in the Times Group. 

Ashok Kumar Jain was the Chairman of the BCCL Company; he died on 4th January 1999. His family includes his wife Indu Jain, his two sons (Samir Jain and Vineet Jain), and one daughter (Nandita Jain). Samir Jain is the Vice Chairman of the BCCL, while Vineet Jain is the Managing Director of BCCL. Indu Jain was the Chairperson of the BCCL; she died on 13th May 2021.
